Shaving/Waxing/Hair Removal for Girls?

I’ve been shaving my legs and armpits for around a year now, and have recently started to shave my arms. I have shaved my public hair before, but never all the way down, just the front. My question is, what is the cheapest, most convenient way of hair removal on your public area and facial area? I have to ask my mom for the necessary supplies, which is embarrassment enough for me…I’ve heard of waxing, and this other pad stuff that removes your hair. I just don’t feel comfortable with shaving my public area, and I’ve read to not shave your facial area.

Girls answers only, please…
Veet looks nice, plus its not expensive, so even if it doesn’t work I’m only losing a few bucks.
I looked at threading, and I don’t think I’d be able to do it. I really don’t want to get a wax, especially in my public area, and laser removal I’m not going to worry about for now. Thank you for taking the time to help me out, though ^^

@Alina- I honestly don’t want a boyfriend, and you honestly don’t phase me.

Veet, even though it smells, it’s worth it. I usually get waxed at a salon but if youre trying to save money, buy Veet products

NEVER shave facial hair (or any hair at all if you can help it) it grows back thicker, faster, and especially for the pubic area can cause more ingrown hair than waxing.
the CHEAPEST way to remove hair on the face is probably threading, costs about $3-$5, and lasts as long or even longer than waxing and achieves the same results. however it could be more painful

as for the pubic area brazzilian waxing can be quite expensive/painful but like i said shaving also has its downfalls

if you really want to be hairless , there’s always laser removal. may cost alot upfront. but when you think about all the salon trips, wax strips, razor blades, and future time you will be saving than its not THAT expensive

Using hair removal creams or waxing your eyebrows, chin, or upperlip are the best things to do, because they don’t grow back thick and coarse like as if you shaved. They grow back thin.

The cheapest hair removal cream that i bought for the facial area was Nair Facial Hair removal cream. It was only $6(Walgreens). Shaving your facial hair is a big NO-NO.
Shaving your armpits and legs are perfectly acceptable.
Public area? Don’t ya mean pubic? Well anyways your pubic area should only be shaved(hair removal creams are bad for that area) and your bikini line can be shaved or waxed.

I use sugar wax, which can be made at home. It can be used on your legs, arms, underarms, face, and bikini area.

      Sugar Wax:

      What you need:
      2 cups sugar
      1/4 Cup Water
      1/4 Cup lemon juice

      1. Place all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil.
      2. When its colour changes to golden brown, lower the heat and continue to simmer.
      3. Keep a careful watch on the colour. Once it starts to change to brown, turn off the heat.
      4. Allow to cool a little, then pour small quantities onto heavy duty plastic, of the cereal bag type. Plastic that is not heavy duty will melt. It is not a good idea to use a plate, as you will need to peel it off something pliable after it cools.
      5. When it becomes cool enough to handle, pull a piece off the plastic and pull and stretch it. This will immediately cause it to change color, from a clear golden brown to an opaque gold. It should be easy to stretch and pull. If it is too hard, you have left it on the heat for too long and must make a new batch. If it is too liquid, it has not been heated enough and must be heated once more, or a new batch made.

And if you mess up, you can just eat it(if it’s not super burnt)! Yum!

I use it and it works VERY well. Just so ya know ;)
