Something About Hair Removal

Hair grows on all over the human body except the palms of the hands, the lips, certain areas of the genital structure and the soles of the feet. Temporary:

Depilation involves the removal of hair from skin surface and this can be achieved by several ways.
Shaving or trimming:  It is the most common method and it is done manually by using razor or tweezers or by electric razors. Shaving is safe but hair grows back quickly.
Depilatories: Several depilatory creams which dissolves hair, are used to remove unwanted hair. It can cause allergy and irritation. Though it is painless, it is not an permanent solution to get rid of this problem.

Epilation involves removal of hair from the root. It has the long lasting effect. There are several procedures to achieve this.
Waxing: A hot or cold layer of sticky paste is applied and it is removed by a porous strips. It’s really a painful process. Since hair is removed from the hair shaft, not from the skin surface, re growth of hair is slower.
Threading & Plucking: In this process, hair is removed by using twisted thread or tweezers.
Epilators: Mechanical devices are used to pull out the hair rapidly.

Permanent:

Laser Treatment: If you are looking for a permanent solution, then laser hair removal is the best choice. The laser light based devices are used to remove the unwanted facial hair. Being non invasive and more gentle, it is most popular one. Always consult a doctor before going for laser treatment.
Electrolysis: This type of hair removing method provides a long lasting effect. Hair follicles are destroyed by using electric current. It is painful too.
