Hair Removal Effective Methods
When speaking of hair removal methods, one can find in the market various techniques of hair removing. While some of the methods provide longer results (and sometimes even permanent results), others are working well as a short term solution for hair removal. The problem is that the customers often find themselves confused in which method is best for them. In this article, simply to make things clearer, we’ve decided to try and explain the main three hair removal methods out there.
Waxing
Well… It’s rather painful, but a very popular hair removal method. It’s possibly the most effective hair removal method for short term. It lasts for up to three weeks and you can do it at home or at a salon. Doing it over at the salon, and having an esthetician performing it, could be easier and less painful actually. The downside is that it hurts and it can leave some redness on the surface of the skin, that’s why we suggest on getting it done just a couple of days before you actually need it (before going to the beach, or before a hot date). Waxing could be an effective hair removal method for large or even small areas, suitable for the bikini line hair removal, eyebrows and legs.
Depilatories
Depilatory creams are chemical products that allow dissolving the hair on the skin’s surface. There are several downsides to it: it smells sometimes and it can cause irritation to the skin. Sometimes they can even leave a burn when used improperly. When choosing the right depilatory cream for you, notice that there are different strengths of depilatories, designed for different types of hair. Weather you’ve got coarse or fine hair, choosing the right depilatory cream is very important. Nevertheless, depilatory creams are a popular hair removal method, suitable for body hair removal such as the legs, underarms and even bikini line hair removal. Just be careful not to leave it on for too long to avoid itching and burning.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is actually a relatively new treatment, dedicated to deactivate the hair follicles on the applied surface. The laser cases the hair to fall out. This effective method of hair removal can achieve permanent results, just after a few treatments. It costs more than the previous methods mentioned above and there are no guarantees that it will get permanent results for everyone. Notice that it only works best when used on candidates with dark hair and white skin. Laser hair removal is suitable for both facial and body hair removal: arms, legs, bikini line hair removal, back, underarms and even the face.
