A quick tutorial on how to properly use Purely Pleasures Body Sugaring Wax.

My first time waxing with strips. Using just a simple butterknife works great. Also putting baby powder or cornstarch on the area to be waxed prevents wax from grabbing skin. That works great on those painfully sensitive areas! RECIPE: 2 CUPS SUGAR, ¼ CUP LEMON JUICE, ¼ CUP WATER MAKING THE SUGAR WAX: Using a gas stove: 1.Put the ingredients in a saucepan and heat it on high. It will boil for approximately ten minutes. 2. Watch the bubbles carefully and when the bubbles turn a light brown color, turn the heat down till it’s as low as it can be. The wax should be turning a golden brown color. 3. Let it simmer for about another five minutes while watching very very carefully. When the wax turns golden brown like the color in my videos then it is done. (When the wax is on step three and is simmering take a tiny bit out on a spoon and run cold water over it. When it cools enough to touch, it should be stretchy. You can test it on your arm. Do this about every two minutes while the wax is simmering until it stretches out on your arm and pulls off easily. If it sticks and won’t come off it’s not done and if it’s brittle you’ve overcooked it.) MAKING WAX USING AN ELECTRIC STOVE: Follow the same steps but reduce the time alot. Cook the wax on medium for 5 to 8 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 6-10 minutes. Watch the bubbles carefully and when the wax reaches the correct take it off heat immediately. @purelypleasures thank you for the info. Hot stripless wax works well for me but it’s so messy and hard to clean up afterwards. I can’t wait to try this.
Tawren, I would like to add that I think it works better for course hair, as long as the wax is used correctly and applied firmly enough to really grab the hair before trying to remove it. Finer hair has a tendency to break, course hair seems to really come out by the root.
@tawren Our wax is very effective on coarse hair and our customers prefer it to traditional hot wax with strips because it’s so much more gentler on the skin. There’s no risk of burning since our wax is not heated, and there’s very minimal pain and irritation because our wax is removed by pulling in the direction of hair growth, not against it like most waxes require. You can purchase our sugar wax on ebay, or on our website. Payment is processed by PayPal either way.
hi, I noticed you are selling this on ebay. Great price for the amount of product. Would this work on fairly coarse hair? If you use it correctly can you get the same effect as you would with hot stripless wax?
i swear that would not do for my hair, i have so tough hair
but i will try
@lacatracha17
lacatracha17, did you purchase this wax from us?
The instructions in the video are for Purely Pleasures Sugar Wax and are not applicable to other brands. This is an all natural sugar wax and requires no heating or strips.

did u made the sugar wax yourself? does i warm it before using it or in normal temperature? pls i need to know i hav try twice already and havent work….
how do know when it’s cool enough to use?
@blaackdove69 get a drop of water on your finger, put it on the piece of paste and knead for a bit till it becomes matte orange with pearly shine. It should be easier to spread it and try to press it against your skin quite hard.
It worked for me
I find it doesn’t remove my hair when i’m just using the ball. Maybe it’s not hot enough? It works when i use cloth though but i don’t have a lot of old shirts to use as the strips.
you look extremely suicidal at 1:50
“Rip! Rip! Rip!”
I had the same problem the first time I made the wax.

Does it hurt?
@InTheMomment yes it does. I tried it.
has anyone tried this? does it really work?
hi army i have a question for u . . i tried to make this . it became yellow and fine , but when i put it on my skin it becomes so like water and not like a “ball” and i cant pull it off . it sticks to my skin .and it dont stretch …..
what can i do ? please help
hey hello, i have a question, does it work better than wax? n does it work on really thick hair? btw ive never use wax before x
@smoochielipz21 Actually the method she’s doing is less damaging, and less painful. And since it pulls the hair out WITH the growth (instead of against, which just breaks the hair off), it pulls out the entire follicle, which over time will make the hair grow softer and lighter and eventually stop growing all together.
I have a tip which helps when a batch is overcooked, like hard candy when it’s cooled. Re-warm it in the microwave, then mix a few tablespoons of water into the batch. It will be sticky and stretchy even when cool. This can be spread on a cloth strip thinly with a knife. Then cover that strip with another strip, and press together. Then peel the two strips apart, and you have two pre-waxed cold strips you can re-use four or five times each! Very convenient to use.
I just can’t cook it right. I put it to boil which it did in about 1 minute, then left it bubbling on the lowest heat possible so it was still really bubbling for 5 minutes. Then I cooled it with water and it just went hard! But I didn’t cook it for any time at all!? So then I thought I should cook it a but more and did that so the saucepan went black and solid and the burnt sugar stinks so much ewww
I just don’t get how long to cook it for!?
@HopewillLead yeah u just put it in the microwave 4 30 to 40 sec.
Are you tired Here we go naughty woman mworld5.info
incorrect spreading and removal. Spread with hair growth (downward) and remove pulling up close to the body and not outward.
can we reheat the wax??
Your videos changed my life
I’ve been sugaring for a few months now and my hairs are thinning. It took me quite a few tries to cook it perfectly. Although i still sometimes mess up a batch, it’s defenitely a lot cheaper, healthier and i think more efficient than any other way of removing hair. It took me quite a bit time to ‘master’ the tehnique xD Ahaha have fond memories of sugar sticking to all kinds of places xD
Anyway just wanted to say THANK YOU
this is the Lebanese way of waxing, they started it by the way. in case any of you didn’t know. no big deal or anything
do you have to use a new strip after each waxing session?
When I use the ball mathod, it works for the first 2-3 pulls but then the wax melts on my skin before I am done pulling it off completely, leaving a caramelly mess behind. Any idea why this is happening? T.T
heyy…erm can you tell me what fabric is best 4 waxing strips??
hey my wax got very hard like a real candy. Do u know what i’d better do know with that thing?
@manabagurls13 yes, it will do less damage than waxing for example. maybe if you have sensitive skin it will be irritated, but it should not be for more than an hour, if it is, then i do not recommend it.
