I’ve used this product for three years now. I do use it with the strips because it’s just easier to get the wax off, although the directions says otherwise. I would test the wax before applying because it gets really hot. I normally have to microwave the wax more than once because the little jar cools really fast. The first time I microwave for two minutes. Then I microwave for 1 minute intervals after that. I normally wax my eyebrows approx. 12x/year. They stay looking fresh for approx. 3 weeks. I buy a jar of this a year so I’m approximating that if I paid Amazon price I’ld have eyebrow wax for 3 years which is a pretty good deal. You always have to practice caution when putting hot wax up to your face. As long as you practice caution, follow the instructions and plan your approach (hence the reason the wax gets cold again, maybe I should invest in a wax warmer) this wax will do what it’s supposed to do.

I followed the microwave directions, and had to repeat many, many times before the wax melted at all. Once I applied the wax to my face, it was dried up before I even got the strip on! Don’t bother with this product.
