Here’s the first coat of Polly Scale light gray and blue-gray in the cockpit and cabin. See also the cockpit floort, the pilot and co-pilot’s seats and the two-wheel-one-stick "Y" shaped flight control yoke. Clever these Canadians. Pull up and push down only have one mechanical connection, and can be shared, while ailerons have individual wheels, no doubt joined at a chain sprocket at the middle of the Y.

My theory here was to paint the fuselage and cabin inside and out, then install the windows, THEN assemble the fuselage halves. Tricky, and more or less successful. By coating the windows with Future floor wax, they were non-toxic liquid glue proof, and bare plastic around the edges off the windows and the frames made a good bond. Sadly, I hadn’t managed to stretch the tape around the outside tight enough. While most were flush with the fuselage side, one was tilted a bout 1mm out…

So here’s what you get, in the raw. All the pieces are glued together, but I cheated, somewhat. I put Future floor wax on the clear canopy and windscreen, so it stayed clear even after I used liquid cement to attach it.

You can see the too-needle-like prop blades, the slightly off fin and rudder shape, and the complete absence of the lower fuselage strake before and after the tail wheel.
