This is my first attempt to self-wax my own underarms. I’m not a professional and do not claim to give professional advice; I just wanted to see if it could be done successfully. Enjoy!

@tyffi05 The same happened with me too, its not easy to do it yourself.
I have read that if you rub baby powder on first before you apply the wax, the wax will only stick to the hair and not the skin so you won’t be pulling your skin and getting it irritated.

btw, do you heat your wax or does it come directly with a creamish texture? I am tired of shaving, it gives ugly results and it darkened by armpits its gross, so I tried waxing today (10mins ago lol), u have to heat it, and it doesnt have strips, i dnt get it cuz first, it burns when i put it on, and it drips because it became all gooey, it stained my bra and only took off a tiny bit of hair, in the manual, it says DO NOT PUT WAX ON SAME AREA TWICE…help??
Did you find that if you let the wax sit for a few seconds before ripping it off it was more effective?

Listen you might thinkl this is a bit exagerated but im 12 yrs old and im going on a graduation trip in 2 days since this trip will involve swimming and i have hair *armpit hair* I would like to know if you think it might hurt alot to me? Thank you very much
ahh lol i flinched a lil when u pulled XD when u waxed the first time did it hurt alot ? and if i wanted to, i can use both sides of the strip or only one side?
I just bought this today and used it, DISASTER! My wax wouldn’t spread and dried fast so I had thick spots stuck all over my legs that would not come off no matter what I did! Finaly my mom ran out and got some baby oil, but I found that baby powder works better to get the wax off and its less messy. It got all my bathroom, it just kept running off the stick. I’m so mad. I got so fed up I only waxed one of my legs and not even my knee! Did I not warm it long enough? I followed the directions.

I have a question. Which do you feel is better the space saver gigi wax warmer or the one with the adjustable temperature. I know the answer seems obvious but with the second option i read that its bulkier and the lid that it does have slides off easily anyway

Have you ever tried the cream wax? What are your thoughts on cream vs honee wax?
it’s basically the same thing, apply thin layer opposite of the hair growth, hold the skin tight, and pull fast! good luck!!
Any tips on waxing your boyfriend’s chest??? Odd question I’m sure.
